Estimates and Quotes

Free estimates provided by Double D Construction are approximate and subject to change based on actual site conditions, material availability, and scope changes. Final pricing will be provided in a written contract before work begins. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.

Contracts and Payments

All work performed by Double D Construction is governed by a written contract that includes:

• Project timeline and milestones
• Payment terms and schedule
• Warranty information
• Cancellation and modification policies

Payment terms will be specified in your contract. We typically require a deposit before work begins, with progress payments due at specified milestones. Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the project.

Warranties

Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our work with a comprehensive workmanship warranty. The specific terms and duration will be outlined in your service contract. This warranty covers defects in our installation and workmanship but does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or acts of nature.

Manufacturer Warranties

Materials and products used in your project are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will provide you with all relevant warranty documentation. Claims under manufacturer warranties must be submitted in accordance with the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Project Changes and Modifications

Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work must be requested in writing and approved by both parties. Changes may affect the project timeline and cost. Additional charges for change orders will be communicated before the work is performed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation policies vary depending on the stage of the project and are outlined in your service contract. In accordance with New Jersey law, you have the right to cancel certain home improvement contracts within three business days of signing. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or work has begun.

Access to Property

By contracting with Double D Construction, you grant us reasonable access to your property to perform the agreed-upon work. You are responsible for ensuring clear access to work areas and for securing any pets or valuables. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and maintain a clean work site.

Permits and Compliance

Double D Construction will obtain necessary permits as required by local building codes and regulations. The cost of permits may be included in your project estimate or billed separately, as specified in your contract. You are responsible for ensuring we have accurate property information needed for permit applications.

Insurance and Licensing

Double D Construction is fully licensed (NJ License #13VH00483900) and insured. We maintain comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for our employees. Certificate of insurance is available upon request.

Limitation of Liability

Double D Construction's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage customers to contact us directly to seek resolution. If we cannot resolve the matter informally, disputes may be submitted to mediation before pursuing legal action. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the appropriate courts of New Jersey.
